The PEARCEDALE CRICKET CLUB  Formed in 1921

MPCA
– Started in Sub Distirct in the MPCA’s first year in 1965/66
– Our first game in the MPCA was against Navy which Pearcedale won.
Pearcedale 10/78 and 3/123 vs Navy 10/81 and 10/108
– Rob Cockhead was Pearcedales first century scorer in the mpca with 119 and 168 in 65/66
– Jim Male was Pearcedales first bowler to take 7 wickets or more in an innings with 7/49 in 65/66
– Pearcedale tied the 06/07 Grand Final against moorooduc
Moorooduc 10/76 and 10/137 Vs Pearcedale 10/59 and 10/154
(Pearcedale were runners up on ladder potition)

-69-70 season membership fees were $2 for seniors with 25c to be paid every playing saturday. jnr fees were just a $1
– 11-8-1969 it was moved that the clubs colours change to royal blue & white
69/70 &  71/72 two senior teams and one junior team was entered
– A.Mann was the junior coach in 1973/74 coaching the colts(u16’s)
– 71/72 fee $3 jnr $1
-1973/74 fees snr $5 jnr $1
-75/76 snr $10 plus $1 per game ball money
seniors under 17 $5 plus 50c per game ball money
juniors $2 plus 20c per game ball money
-77/78 snrs $15 plus $10 ball money by november 30th
senior u17’s 12.50 no ball money
jnr $9 & no ball money
-77/78 5 Senior teams 1 x U/16’s & 1 x U/14s
-74/5 colts (u14’s) replaced the under 16’s & 3 senior teams were entered for the first time.
– a coaches fee during the 70’s was $100 for the season with an incentive of $50 for the 1st XI making the finals and an extra $25 for winning the Premiership.

 First premiership in 1931/32 against Tyabb
– Gordon Smith took 133 wickets in 1930/31 with an average of 4.5
-Gordon Smith took over 400 wickets in four seasons with an average of 5 from 1928/29 – 1931/32
